Paraffin Wax - Fully Refined (Candle Making)

Description: This is an extremely versatile fully refined paraffin wax with a strong scent throw. Pellets form makes it easy to get just the right amount of wax needed without having to cut or break slabs. It works great for pillars, votive, tarts, and cut and carve candles. This hard, translucent wax produces candles with a mottled appearance.

Applications: Pillars, Votives, Tarts, and Cut and Carve

Recommended Fragrance Load: 3% Max (Higher fragrance loads may be achievable with the use of additives although you should be aware that the use of additives will diminish the "mottled" look.)

Melting Point :- 45°C to 75°C

Oil Content: - Less than 0.5%

Flash Point :- Above 240°C

Moisture: - NIL

Note: Very little shrinkage occurs which means that a re-pour is usually not necessary (when no additives are used and wax is poured at 65°C or below.)
