Oil-Soluble Extracts Explained
It Prepared via a cold process to avoid potential loss of effectiveness heat processing can have. Created from naturally grown materials which are extracted first with a specified eluant to yield a concentrate. This concentrate is then dissolved in safflower oil at a concentration of 10% concentrate and 90% diluents. Unlike their water-soluble counterparts, oil-soluble extracts are concentrated flavors dissolved in an oil base, such as vegetable oil, instead of water or alcohol.
Bakuchiol Liquid Extract
Retinol-like, 100% natural, anti-aging & anti-blemished skin compound extracted from the edible seeds of the Psoralea Corylifolia plant, a herb that is widely used in Indian as well as in Chinese medicine. Despite having no structural resemblance to retinol, Bakuchiol was found to have retinol functionality through retinol-like regulation of gene expression.

Use: Creams & lotions, skin cleansers, hair care products, after-sun products, hair moisturizing sprits, hair conditioners and body lotions.
Applications: Add to formulas to the oil phase. Typical use level: 5-10%. For external use only.
This is a natural product which may darken with age (discoloration will not affect efficacy). Slight fallout may occur over time. Protect from oxidation. Store at room temperature.
