Dimethicone 350 cSt is a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) silicone fluid designed to improve the sensory profile, spreadability and conditioning performance of cosmetic and personal-care products.

The 350 cSt viscosity offers an excellent balance between fluidity and substantivity. It spreads easily while providing a noticeable silky, lubricious and conditioning feel without the extremely heavy texture associated with very high-viscosity silicone fluids.

How to use:

Dimethicone 350cSt is not water-soluble and should not simply be added directly to water.

For emulsions, it can normally be incorporated into the oil/silicone phase or introduced according to the selected emulsification system and manufacturing procedure.

For anhydrous hair serums and silicone-based formulations, it can be blended with compatible cosmetic emollients and silicone fluids.

Always perform a small laboratory trial before scaling production.
