Description: Honey is a natural humectant and moisturizer able to retain moisture on the skin. Honey extract is a chemical made by bees from blooming plant nectar. Honey, which is mostly composed of the sugars fructose and glucose and is ingested as food, provides skin care advantages due to its amino acid, peptide, antioxidant, and natural antibacterial makeup. Honey contains antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E, as well as flavonoid molecules triacetin, quercetin, and luteolin. It is soluble in water, alcohol, and glycerol but is insoluble in oil.

Applications: Slowly stir desired amount of liquid into formula and mix well. Typical use level .5% to 5%. For external use only.
This is a natural product which may darken with age (discoloration will not affect efficacy). Slight fallout may occur over time. Protect from oxidation. Store at room temperature.
