Hydrogenated Polyisobutene
Light, non-oily lubricant with good spreading and penetrating properties. Easily emulsified and very stable.
Description: Low-viscosity nonpolar polymer oil (synonym: hydrogenated butene homopolymer). Great mineral oil substitute. A synthetic liquid oil that can replace mineral oil or silicone oils in the cosmetic formulas. Apart from leaving the skin soft and smooth (emollient), it's also used as a waterproofing agent in sunscreens or makeup products and as a shine enhancer in lip gloss formulas. Solubility: Insoluble in water, soluble in oils.

Use: Can be added to formulas as is, usual final concentration 1-50%. For external use only.
