- Rosemary is well known as a scalp and hair tonic, stimulating circulation for healthy hair growth and condition. It may of use for head lice and dandruff, and for acne or oily skin.
- Rosemary has a powerful relieving action for joint and muscles aches. Great in massage blends, bath oils and compresses, it stimulates blood flow and warms a stiff, tired or cold body. It makes a penetrating inhalation or chest rub during coughs and colds to loosen congestion and open the airways. Rosemary is also used for headaches and is considered a liver and gallbladder tonic. Massage or apply in a compress over the abdomen to ease digestive discomfort or sluggishness, and for menstrual discomfort.
- Rosemary is one of the best oils for mental clarity and focus and to revive the senses. It helps clear the head and stimulate brain function. Great to use for brain fog, during study or when fatigue or nervous debility is impairing clear thinking and alertness.
Use: Face soap, liquid soap, body washes, lotion, oil and scrubs.
