Description: Native to the southern regions of North America, Serenoa serrulata fruit has long been used by Native Americans for its nutritional properties. This extract can also be used in skin care products where it shows anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps in calming irritated skin and addresses conditions like redness and sensitivity. Overall, It contains many beneficial properties for both hair and skin and is thus widely used. It is soluble in water, alcohol, and glycerol but is insoluble in oil.

• Hair care: It has properties that inhibit the activity of 5-alpha-reductase, which is responsible for converting testosterone to dihydrotestosterone - resulting in hair loss. It also promotes good scalp health and prevents the thinning of hair

Use: All skin care products can be added to a wide range of products including creams, lotions, shampoos and conditioners, bath products, and moisturizing products such as face oils, face creams and body butters, to provide additional flavor and nutrients.

Applications: Slowly stir desired amount of liquid into formula and mix well. Typical use level .5% to 5%. For external use only.
