GUIDE RECIPE
It’s so easy to create a simple Soap Bar. To create your very own set of handmade soap bars, here is what you’ll need:
  • Melt & Pour soap base – slice into meltable chunks
  • Add Fragrance and colorants
  • Add dried ingredients such as flower petals and herbal powders if you wish
  • A Soap Mould and Slicer
  • Microwave / double boiler
  • Open / cut - Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into smaller cubes, doing this will make the soap easier to handle and melt.
  • Melt - Heat at melting temperature between 60°C - 70°C If you are melting in a microwave, please be careful and keep an eye on the soap as it can bubble over the container. If you are melting in a double boiler on stove Stir between intervals until liquid. Gradually heat the soap base ensuring that the soap melts evenly and does not boil and burn.
  • Mix - Once the soap base is melted, add the additives of your choice, such as Fragrance oil, Colorants and Mica or Glitter powders. After adding the additives, mix the soap base thoroughly to ensure that the additives are evenly distributed.
  • Pour -  It's time to pour the soap into the mould. Fill to the rim of the mould, Quickly spray the surface with rubbing alcohol to break up any bubbles that may have been formed on the surface. Let it cool until hard for 30-60 minutes at room temperature. Remove the soap from the mold after it solidifies and pack it in a shrink wrapping paper.

In no time at all, you will be able to show off homemade soaps that you have made yourself proudly! Here wishing you the most creative and rewarding experience with Melt & Pour Soap making! Your homemade soap bars are now ready to use or gift!
