Hemp Lip Balm

Hemp Lip Balm

This natural lip balm recipe uses hemp seed oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids, to penetrate into the lips - moisturizing and leaving them feeling soft and supple. With natural butters, oils, and waxes, this therapeutic lip balm formula will help to prevent and repair the dry, damaged chapping that often occurs in winter time from exposure to the elements.
Ingredients for 150 grams:

20%   Cocoa Butter     (30 grams)

16%   Beeswax           (24 grams)

8%    Shea Butter       (12 grams)

10%   Avocado Oil       (15 grams)

30%   Castor Oil          (45 grams)

14%   Hemp Seed Oil    (21 grams)

2%    Vitamin E            (3 grams)

This recipe is designed using premium oils and moisturizers. It can be adjusted to accommodate your ingredient inventory as well as to adjust the economy of the product.

Directions:

  1. Slowly heat the cocoa butter, beeswax, and shea butter over low-medium heat in a double boiler or microwave until melted.
  2. Add the oils and stir well.
  3. Add flavoring to desired level of taste.
  4. Pour into containers while still in a viscous liquid. Allow to cool in containers and then cap.
