Hair butter is a blend of natural and unrefined butter which acts as a sealant and wonderful moisturizer protecting hair from breakage, fizziness, and dryness. Hair butter is often mixed with essential oils to make it a better fit for your hair.
Especially for curly or dry hair, hair butters are a thicker, more controllable alternative to oils. Butters provide the same dense, replenishing moisture and sheen as a coconut or jojoba oil would do, but with the added benefit of creamy pliability and application - perfect for laying edges, smoothing ends, and securing protective styles.

Prepare a water bath by heating about 1.5cm/ ½” of water until it is steaming, but not simmering, in a wide, flat-bottomed sauté pan.
Weight the heated phase ingredients into a small heat resistant cup. Place the cup in your prepared water bath to melt everything through.
After everything is melted, add essential oils and mix well.
Put it in the freezer for 15 mins, and whip it using an electric hand whisker.
Once you achieve a creamy consistency, empty it in a container. Set it for some time and enjoy!

To use, apply it to your hair from root to tip.
Cover your hair with a shower cap for about 30-40 minutes and wash it off using a mild shampoo.
You would not need to add a preservative as it is a oil blend.
